Songs of Deliverance

Psalms 32:7 — “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.”

TREBLE CLEF & NOTES

God is singing songs of deliverance over me.
My God is singing songs of deliverance over me.
It matters not how dark the night,
How overwhelming seems the fight;
God is singing songs of deliverance over me.

God is singing songs of deliverance over me.
My God is singing songs of deliverance over me.
It matters not the enemy’s might;
I’ll not give any place to fright;
God is singing songs of deliverance over me.

God is singing songs of deliverance over me.
My God is singing songs of deliverance over me.
I walk by faith and not by sight;
I’ll win and give God great delight,
For He’s singing songs of deliverance over me.

Fill Me With Jesus

~

© 1997 Sandra Conner

I often share verses to songs I’ve written, but I generally post them as poems. This time I thought I’d post the manuscript page with musical notation as well, just in case some of you want to hear how it sounds. It’s written in 4/4 time, but I like it played a little slower than normal.

FILL ME WITH JESUS SONG - EDITEDFor those of you who are not particularly musically oriented — and who may not be familiar with the notation that leads musicians to the separate endings so that the words follow a specific order — I am posting the words in poem form below. I hope you will enjoy them as much in that format.

Fill me with Jesus;
Fill me with Jesus;
Fill me with Jesus
‘Til I overflow.

Let Him think through me;
Let Him speak through me;
Let Him move through me
Everywhere I go.

Fill me with Jesus;
Fill me with Jesus;
Fill me with Jesus
‘Till I overflow.

Take out everything else;
Take out all of myself,
And fill me with Jesus until He spills out
Everywhere where I go.
