Follow God…Make Him Your Focus

“And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.” – 2 Kings 2:14(KJV)

This is normally directed toward people who are in active ministry or seeking to be in ministry. But, I would argue that every Christian is in ministry of some form because our lives are to be representative of the risen Savior to a world that desperately needs Him.

We live in a world of “hero-worship.” This is not good anywhere, especially in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ!
