Be Faithful To The God Of Israel

I was reading this morning in Matthew 15, and found myself in verses 30-31. “And great multitudes came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, dumb, and many others … and He healed them … and they glorified the God of Israel.”

Those last four words caught my attention, and I began thinking about how the Christians in other parts of the world — especially the United States — tend to forget that it is truly The God of Israel who has created us and blessed us so abundantly.  We need to be especially conscious of that fact in the midst of the present world circumstances.  As Americans particularly, we need to re-evaluate how we see, think about, and treat the nation of Israel.

I’m calling on all of the citizens of the U. S. specifically to do just that.  It was The God of Israel who established the United States of American and blessed it with such bounty for all of us — and made it possible for us to bless so many other peoples in the world from that bounty as well.  May we never forget to be grateful to Him and to show our gratitude by always supporting and blessing His first nation — ISRAEL.

  1. Sandra, as always, your messages are always uplifting in one manner or another. On occasion, you write blogs that cause me to somberly reflect into my own heart and cause me to remember to be more humble and grateful…. but other times I have found myself smling and chuckling over more light-hearted ones. Thanks for posting, I may not always reply, but I enjoy reading them. I hope you have a great weekend!!!

    1. Thank you. And, yes, it’s especially important that our nation remember now — with so much at stake on the political front. We can’t afford to turn away from strong support for the nation of Israel.
